Hamer Technical Pty Ltd (ABN 44 696 373 207, “Hamer Technical”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through hamertechnical.com.au and our booking process, how we use it, and how to contact us about it.

Information we collect

Contact details you provide directly: name, email address, phone number, and any details you include when booking a consultation or emailing us.
Appointment information: booked service, date/time, and any notes you provide when scheduling through our booking page.
Website usage data: pages visited, general location (city-level), device/browser type, and referring source, collected via Google Analytics. This is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally unless you've also given us your contact details separately.

How we use it

To respond to enquiries and deliver the IT support or consulting services you've requested.
To manage bookings and appointment reminders (via Microsoft Bookings).
To keep a record of client relationships and past work (via our CRM).
To understand how the website is used, so we can keep it useful and fix problems (via Google Analytics).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.

Who we share it with

Booking, scheduling, analytics, and CRM data is processed by the third-party platforms we use to run the business: Microsoft (Bookings), Google (Analytics), and Capsule CRM. Each operates under its own privacy terms, and data may be processed on servers outside Australia as a result. We only share what's needed for these platforms to function — we don't sell or rent your details to anyone else.

Security

Hamer Technical is an IT and information security consultancy, so we hold ourselves to a higher standard here: access to client data is limited to what's needed to deliver the engagement, and we follow current security best practice for anything we store.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Contact thomas.hamer@hamertechnical.com.au to make a request. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can raise a concern with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes

We may update this policy occasionally to reflect changes in how we operate. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
