Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to your use of hamertechnical.com.au, any booking made through it, and consulting/IT support services provided by Hamer Technical Pty Ltd (ABN 44 696 373 207).

Bookings and appointments

  • Bookings made through our online booking page are for an initial consultation or support session, not a fixed-scope service agreement. Scope, pricing, and timelines for any ongoing work are agreed separately in writing before work begins.
  • Please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel a booking. Repeated no-shows may result in booking access being restricted.
  • We aim to be on time; if unavoidable delays come up, we'll let you know as soon as possible.

Services

  • Any engagement beyond an initial consultation (ongoing support, project work, etc.) is governed by a separate written agreement or quote, which takes precedence over these general terms for that engagement.
  • We aim to deliver services professionally and to a high technical standard, but we don't guarantee every issue can be resolved in a single session — some problems require follow-up work, third-party vendor involvement, or hardware/software you'll need to arrange separately.

Payment

  • Pricing for consultations and services is confirmed with you before or at the time of booking, or as part of a separate quote for larger engagements.
  • Invoices are payable within the terms stated on the invoice.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Hamer Technical's liability for any loss arising from services provided is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost data, unless caused by our negligence. You're responsible for maintaining your own backups of important data before any IT work is carried out, unless a backup is explicitly part of the agreed scope of work.

Governing law
